Transitions forge their cinema!
The international ecological and social film festival is also and above all a citizens' initiative.

THE FESTIVAL

PRESENTATION
On the 10th, 11th and 12th of July 2021, the first edition of the International Ecological and Social Film Festival will take place in Cannes, a town renown for international cinema.

This festival places the spotlight on life, solidarity and sharing. We honour those who make cinema a medium of expression, engagement and inspiration. These citizens who use film to show that which is most beautiful and powerful.

Their capacity to question, touch, provoke, inspire, mobilise, engage; to contribute to the incarnation of new visions and to make visible the invisible.
THE VILLAGE OF THE ALTERNATIVES
This site is dedicated to alternative associations, and is an assemble of a dozen stands where organisations engaged in the themes of the social and ecological transition are present.

This place of gathering will also be the theatre of artistic entertainment, conferences and debate during these two days of the festival.

The village offers a space to meet and to reflect between local activists and cinema professionals engaged in taking innovative action for the world of today and tomorrow. It will also allow local people and tourists to discover the participants, to be made aware and reminded of the environmental issues we all face.
Schedule: 9:00 – 16:00 (Open to all and free)

Location: The village is in the heart of the Cannes town centre at the foot of the beaches of the Croisette, and among the Florian Cul de sac, “Impasse Florian” and Commandant Andre Street, “la rue du Commandant André”. View the map

Open on the 11th and 12th of july from 9am to 4pm. Free entrance*

*Entrance in strict compliance with current sanitary measures
